Krewe du Vieux rolls on third Saturday before Mardi Gras parade taking a route through the French Quarter. The parade contains many satirical, “adult” themes, so if you do bring the kids be prepared to do a lot of explaining.
In 2009 the krewe began to parade along a new route.
